I am in a writer’s block. 10 half-baked posts sitting dusty on my hard drive like condoms in a BAYC holder’s bathroom drawer. These unpublished blog posts don’t feel striking or interesting enough to post. Then I bricked my computer. Clean slate. Looking back, it was a relieving feeling. The post about my family’s first dog, how I won a rifle at a casino, a fishing trip that never happened. All gone. “Fresh start” I thought—then I fumbled into figuring out I didn’t need to reflash windows onto my laptop and I could repair my computer from a backup state (unbeknownst to me) that automatically saves restore points on your device.
So, I have all my files and stuff back. Yippee! But now those old unfinished posts that were dead in my mind have been resurrected. Zombie posts. Maybe I will fully flesh out some, but I think I’ll leave the majority of them as unanimated. Finding the right words is hard. If only I could break some sort of rhetoric code that would make my writing encapsulate my sentiments fully in a beautiful way. I guess there is AI, but that feels like such a cop out. I want my thoughts to be filtered through my own brain, not computer magic owned by pedophile elites that worship Molech or something. I do not need a pattern recognition algorithm to break the rhetoric code, I need to! Being meta and writing about not being able to write is kinda silly, but if this is what I need to do to finally break my 2 month-long post hiatus then so be it! WE ARE SO BACK BABY! WE NEVER TRULY LEFT!
